The petition was supported by the Student Union of Odisha – NYSC. He had appealed to the students to sign a google form to fight against the offline examination and thousands of students have signed that google form and appealed to the board to conduct the online examination. In his petition, he sought a direction to the Supreme Court not to physically conduct the board exams.

He also said that the reason behind this is that students are already under mental stress and under pressure due to covid-19 and offline exams will increase their stress. In the petition, the students want the board to give an online test, if not then it should be an objective type test as they have lost the habit of writing due to online classes from last 2 years. His counsel also mentioned that the board should release the result on the basis of internal assessment and they should release the result at the earliest as it will affect the further studies of the students as the deadline for the entrance exam of the colleges will be over and the students will not be able to gain admission and their 1 year will be lost.
