The scheme is offered by the Tribal Welfare Department of the state to provide financial assistance to lower-class students. The main objective of this scheme is to promote higher education among such students. The benefit of the scholarship is directly transferred to the bank accounts of the students. MPTAAS 2023-24 Eligibility Conditions

Here are the eligibility conditions for MPTAAS Scholarship. Candidates must check it before applying for the scholarship.

• Applicants must be residents of Madhya Pradesh.
• The students must belong to the reserved categories like Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST).
• The annual family income (from all sources) should be less than ₹6 lakh.
• Applicant's parents should not be working in any government institution. 

MPTAAS - Rewards / Benefits

Hostellers and Day Scholars are offered different scholarship amounts. MPTAAS Scholarship covers the following groups:

Documents Required for MP TAAS Scholarship Registration

Candidates are required to keep the following documents ready for filling the scholarship application:

• passport size photograph
• student id proof
• qualifying exam mark sheet
• Recent fee receipt and admit card
• Residential Proof like Voter ID / Aadhar Card / PAN Card
• caste certificate
• income certificate
• student bank passbook

 

Application Process for MPTAAS Scholarship

Applications for the MPTAAS Scholarship Scheme can be submitted on the MPTAAS portal by following the steps mentioned below.

Submission of Application on the Scholarship Portal

1. Visit the official MPTAAS Portal - scholarshipportal.mp.nic.in,
2. Click on the registration link under 'Student Corner'.
3. Enter your Aadhaar number and proceed.
4. Complete the registration process.
5. After completing the registration process, click on the application form link and fill the details.
6. Upload all the required documents.
7. Submit the application form and take a print out of it for future reference.

 

Submission of Application on Tribal Ministry Portal

1. Go to the official portal tribal.mp.gov.in/mptaas,
2. Click on the link 'New Beneficiary Profile Registration' under the 'Login' window.
3. Provide details like name, aadhaar number, date of birth, city/town, mobile number, address, email address, caste certificate number.
4. Click on the 'Save & Next' button.
5. An OTP will be sent to your mobile number. Verify mobile number.
6. Set User ID and Password. Keep these login credentials safe for future reference.
7. Enter ID and Password to login.

 

Comment: The prize money will be directly transferred to the beneficiary's bank account.
