Applicants must have a degree in Arts or Science or Business from any University recognized by the University Grants Committee.
Preferential qualification: Provided that other things being equal, preference shall be given to those employees of religious institutions (except Government servants) who have completed at least 5 years of service. Provided that, other things being equal, preference shall be given to persons having a BA, a degree in Indian Institute of Culture and Religious Management and a Diploma in Epigraphy and Archeology awarded by the Epigraphy Institute in Tamil Nadu.
