PM Drone Didi Yojana 2024
Pradhan Mantri Drone Didi Yojana has been launched under the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 30 November 2023. Through this scheme, more than 15,000 women of self-help groups will be given the benefit of this scheme to make them drone didis. Apart from this, 15 days training will also be given to women through this scheme. Women will be able to become self-reliant by flying drones and spraying pesticides on crops. Also, under this scheme, women will be given ₹ 15000 per month for flying drones.
Main objective of PM Drone Didi Yojana 2024
The main objective of the Pradhan Mantri Drone Yojana is to provide employment opportunities to women through training. Through this scheme, women of self-help groups will be given training in flying drones and women of self-help groups will also be given a salary of up to ₹ 15,000 per month. Through this, all women will be able to become self-reliant and they will also be provided employment opportunities through this scheme.

While addressing his mother, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi also said that now the name of Namo Drone Didi is on everyone's lips. Drones will be operated in every village through Drone Didi. PM Modi further said that there is no area in the country where women power is lagging behind and women have shown excellent leadership abilities. Women are also ahead in natural farming, water conservation and cleanliness. There is so much discussion in every village that Drone Didi will fly drones to help the women living in the villages. Eligibility for PM Drone Didi Yojana 2024
- Candidate should be associated with Self Help Group.
- Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Women must be at least over 18 years of age.
Benefit of PM Drone Didi Yojana 2024
- The benefit of this scheme will be given only to women of self-help groups.
- Under this scheme, women will be trained for 15 days.
- Women will be given salary up to ₹ 15000.
- 15000 drones will be given to more than 10 crore women involved in self-help groups.
- Women will be given drone training by forming a cluster in 10 to 15 villages.
- Through this scheme, salary will be provided to women through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
