Syllabus: Presently the Commission has made the syllabus of NET conducted by UGC and CSIR the same, which you can download through the website www.sletne.org.
Exam Pattern: There will be two papers in this exam. Only multiple choice type questions will be asked in all the two papers.

Paper – I will be of general subject, the objective of which is to assess the teaching ability of the candidate. It is mainly designed to test the reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.
A total of 100 multiple choice questions based on the subject will be asked in Paper – II. Each question in Paper II exam will be of 2 marks.
