The candidates have to go through the following process to get selected for the Assistant Posts: There are 03 stages of selection process i.e. Objective Test, Descriptive Test and Interview. The objective test will consist of objective type multiple choice questions. Qualified candidates will be called for a descriptive test followed by an interview test.

Stage 1: Objective Tests: The exam conducting body, Kerala High Court will conduct an objective test of total 100 marks which has to be answered in OMR answer sheet. Candidates declared qualified in the objective test will be called for descriptive test.

Stage 2: Descriptive Test: C: The descriptive exam will be of 60 marks, which will have to be written on separate answer sheets. The exam will include topics like summary, comprehension and short essay.

Step 3: Interview: The interview test will be of 10 marks. Candidates must secure at least 35% marks in the interview to be included in the rank list. The final rank list will be prepared by adding the marks obtained in objective test, descriptive test and interview.
