(a) Understanding the learner

  • Understanding adolescence: Needs, challenges, and implications for designing institutional supports.

(b) Understanding Teaching Teaching

  • Theoretical Perspectives on Learning-Behaviourism, Cognitivism and Constructivism with special reference to their implications:
    (i) Role of teacher

    (iii) Nature of teacher-student relationship
    (iv) Selection of teaching methods

  • Factors affecting learning and their implications:
