To get selected for the post of RPF Inspector, one has to pass the following 3 stages –
- written examination
- Physical Efficiency Test PET/Physical Standard Test PMT

RPF Inspector Exam Pattern is as follows –
- A total of 120 questions are asked in this examination.
- The time given for RPF SI written exam is 90 minutes.
- 1 mark will be given for the correct answer to each question.
- There is negative marking of 1/3 marks in the exam.
- To pass the RPF SI exam, EWS, OBC caste candidates must obtain minimum 35% marks and SC, ST caste candidates must obtain 30% marks in the written examination.
